26. Tad Dāvids jautāja tiem vīriem, kas bija viņa tuvumā, teikdams: "Ko dabūs tas vīrs, kas šo filistieti nogalinās un novērsīs apkaunojumu no Israēla? Kas tad šis filistietis tāds ir, ka viņš, kurš ir neapgraizīts, uzdrošinās izaicināt dzīvā Dieva kara pulkus?"
