5. Un Dāvids gāja visur, kur vien Sauls viņu sūtīja. Viņš arī visu sapratīgi izpildīja, un Sauls viņu iecēla par virsnieku karavīriem. Viņš jo labi patika visai tautai un tāpat arī Saula galma ļaudīm.
