1. Tad ķēniņš ļoti noskuma, un viņš uzkāpa vārtu augšējā telpā un raudāja, un sauca: "Mans dēls Absalom! Manu dēliņ! Mans dēls Absalom! Kaut jel kāds būtu man ļāvis mirt tavā vietā! Ak, Absalom, manu dēliņ! Mans dēls!"
