12. Un Dāvids pavēlēja saviem miesassargiem, un tie tos nogalināja. Viņi nocirta viņiem rokas un kājas un pašus uzkāra pie Hebronas dīķa. Bet Išbošeta galvu viņi ņēma un apglabāja Abnera kapa vietā Hebronā.
