8. Un Tas Kungs man jautāja: "Ko tu redzi, Amos?" Es atbildēju: "Svērteni ar svinu galā." Tad Tas Kungs sacīja: "Redzi, Es gribu iegremdēt Savu svērteni pašā vidū Savai Israēla tautai, un turpmāk Es vairs nemaz nebūšu saudzīgs pret to.
