21. Tad ķēniņš pavēlēja novietot Jeremiju pils sardzes pagalma cietumā un deva viņam katru dienu klaipu maizes no cepēju ielas, kamēr pilsētā maize izbeidzās. Tā Jeremija palika pils sardzes pagalma cietumā.
