1. Dziedātāju vadonim. Dāvida dziesma par piemiņu.
  
2. Steidzies, ak, Dievs, mani paglābt, steidzies man palīgā!
  
3. Lai kļūst apkaunoti un nosarkst visi, kas tīko pēc manas dzīvības; lai atkāpjas un paliek kaunā, kas priecājas par manu nelaimi!
  
4. Lai griežas atpakaļ dziļi nokaunējušies tie, kas saka:"Tā, tā!"
  
5. Lai Tevī priecājas un līksmojas visi, kas Tevi meklē! Un pastāvīgi viņi lai saka: "Liels ir Dievs!" - tie, kas meklē Tevī glābiņu un Tavu pestīšanu.
  
6. Bet es esmu bēdīgs un nabags, ak, Dievs, steidzies pie manis! Tu esi mans palīgs un mans glābējs, ak, Kungs, nekavējies!
