30. ശേഷിച്ചവര് അഫേക് പട്ടണത്തിലേക്കു ഔടിപ്പോയി; ശേഷിച്ചിരുന്ന ഇരുപത്തേഴായിരം പേരുടെമേല് പട്ടണമതില് വീണു. ബെന് -ഹദദും ഔടി പട്ടണത്തിന്നകത്തു കടന്നു ഒരു ഉള്ളറയില് ഒളിച്ചു.
