14. അവന് ദാവീദിന്റെ നഗരത്തില് തനിക്കായിട്ടു വെട്ടിച്ചിരുന്ന സ്വന്ത കല്ലറയില് അവനെ അടക്കം ചെയ്തു; വൈദ്യന്മാരുടെ യോഗപ്രകാരം ഉണ്ടാക്കിയ സുഗന്ധവര്ഗ്ഗവും പലതരം പരിമളസാധനങ്ങളും നിറെച്ചിരുന്ന ശയ്യമേല് അവനെ കിടത്തുകയും അവന്നു വേണ്ടി എത്രയും വലിയോരു ദഹനം കഴിക്കയും ചെയ്തു.
