24. എന്നാല് രാജാവുഅവന് തന്റെ വീട്ടിലേക്കു പോകട്ടെ; എന്റെ മുഖം അവന് കാണരുതു എന്നു കല്പിച്ചു. അങ്ങനെ അബ്ശാലോം തന്റെ വീട്ടില് പോയി; രാജാവിന്റെ മുഖം കണ്ടതുമില്ല.
