6. പിന്നെ ദാവീദ് ദമ്മേശെക്കിനോടു ചേര്ന്ന അരാമില് കാവല്പട്ടാളങ്ങളെ പാര്പ്പിച്ചു; അരാമ്യരും ദാവീദിന്നു ദാസന്മാരായിത്തീര്ന്നു കപ്പം കൊടുത്തുവന്നു. ഇങ്ങനെ ദാവീദ് ചെന്നേടത്തൊക്കെയും യഹോവ അവന്നു ജയം നല്കി.
