43. “യിസ്രായേല് ഗൃഹമേ, നിങ്ങള് മരുഭൂമിയില് എനിക്കു നാല്പതു സംവത്സരം ഹനനയാഗങ്ങളും ഭോജനയാഗങ്ങളും അര്പ്പിച്ചുവോ? നിങ്ങള് നമസ്കരിപ്പാന് ഉണ്ടാക്കിയ സ്വരൂപങ്ങളായ മൊലോക്കിന്റെ കൂടാരവും രേഫാന് ദേവന്റെ നക്ഷത്രവും നിങ്ങള് എടുത്തു നടന്നുവല്ലോ; എന്നാല് ഞാന് നിങ്ങളെ ബാബിലോന്നപ്പുറം പ്രവസിപ്പിക്കും” എന്നു പ്രവാചകന്മാരുടെ പുസ്തകത്തില് എഴുതിയിരിക്കുന്നുവല്ലോ.
