16. അങ്ങനെ രാജാവിന് കല്പനയാല് അവര് ദാനീയേലിനെ കൊണ്ടുവന്നു സിംഹങ്ങളുടെ ഗുഹയില് ഇട്ടുകളഞ്ഞു; രാജാവു ദാനീയേലിനോടു സംസാരിച്ചുനീ ഇടവിടാതെ സേവിച്ചുവരുന്ന നിന്റെ ദൈവം നിന്നെ രക്ഷിക്കും എന്നു കല്പിച്ചു.
