24. കാര്യം രാജാവിന്നു അറിവു കിട്ടിയപ്പോള് അവന് യെഹൂദന്മാര്ക്കും വിരോധമായി ചിന്തിച്ചിരുന്ന ഉപായം അവന്റെ തലയിലേക്കു തന്നെ തിരിയുവാനും അവനെയും അവന്റെ പുത്രന്മാരെയും കഴുമരത്തിന്മേല് തൂക്കിക്കളവാനും രാജാവു രേഖാമൂലം കല്പിക്കയും ചെയ്തതുകൊണ്ടു അവര് ആ നാളുകള്ക്കു പൂര് എന്ന പദത്താല് പൂരീം എന്നു പേര് വിളിച്ചു.
