2. ശിംശോന് ഇവിടെ വന്നിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു ഗസ്യര്ക്കും അറിവുകിട്ടി; അവര് വന്നു വളഞ്ഞു അവനെ പിടിപ്പാന് രാത്രിമുഴുവനും പട്ടണവാതില്ക്കല് പതിയിരുന്നു; നേരം വെളുക്കുമ്പോള് അവനെ കൊന്നുകളയാം എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു രാത്രിമുഴുവനും അനങ്ങാതിരുന്നു.
