12. അങ്ങനെ ചെയ്തതില് ഗിലെയാദിലെ യാബേശ് നിവാസികളുടെ ഇടയില് പുരുഷനുമായി ശയിച്ചു പുരുഷസംസര്ഗ്ഗം ചെയ്തിട്ടില്ലാത്ത നാനൂറു കന്യകമാരെ കണ്ടെത്തി അവരെ കനാന് ദേശത്തിലെ ശീലോവില് പാളയത്തിലേക്കു കൊണ്ടുവന്നു.
