3. യഹോവ യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ അപേക്ഷ കേട്ടു കനാന്യരെ ഏല്പിച്ചുകൊടുത്തു; അവര് അവരെയും അവരുടെ പട്ടണങ്ങളെയും ശപഥാര്പ്പിതമായി നശിപ്പിച്ചു; ആ സ്ഥലത്തിന്നു ഹോര്മ്മാ എന്നു പേരായി.
