17. എന്റെ ബലമായുള്ളോവേ, ഞാന് നിനക്കു സ്തുതിപാടും; ദൈവം എന്റെ ഗോപുരവും എന്നോടു ദയയുള്ള ദൈവവും അല്ലോ. (സംഗീതപ്രമാണിക്കു; സാക്ഷ്യസാരസം എന്ന രാഗത്തില്; അഭ്യസിപ്പിപ്പാനുള്ള ദാവീദിന്റെ ഒരു സ്വര്ണ്ണഗീതം. യോവാബ് മെസൊപൊത്താമ്യയിലെ അരാമ്യരോടും സോബയിലെ അരാമ്യരോടും യുദ്ധം ചെയ്തു മടങ്ങിവന്ന ശേഷം ഉപ്പുതാഴ്വരയില് പന്തീരായിരം എദോമ്യരെ സംഹരിച്ചുകളഞ്ഞ സമയത്തു ചമെച്ചതു.)
