8. मी अस­ म्हणता­ की देवाच्या सत्याकरितां म्हणजे पूर्वजांस दिलेली वचन­ खरीं करण्याकरितां, आणि विदेशी लोकांनी त्याच्या दयेमुळ­ देवाच­ गौरव कराव­ याकरितां, खिस्त सुंता झालेल्या लोकांचा सेवक झाला; यास्तव विदेशी लोकांमध्य­ मी तुझ­ स्वतन करीन, व तुझ्या नामाच­ स्तोत्र गाईन, असा शास्त्रलेख आहे.
