24. Израилевите мажи беа изморени тој ден; а Саул, не размислувајки многу, го заколна народот, велејки: "Проклет да е оној, што ке вкуси леб до вечерва, додека не им се одмаздам на моите непријатели!" И никој од народот не вкуси храна.
