18. En de Geest toog Amasai aan, den overste der hoofdlieden, en hij zeide: Wij zijn uw, o David, en met u zijn wij, gij, zoon van Isai. Vrede, vrede zij u, en vrede uw helperen; want uw God helpt u. Toen nam David hen aan, en stelde hen tot hoofden der benden.
