36. Toen nu Abigail tot Nabal kwam, ziet, zo had hij een maaltijd in zijn huis, als eens konings maaltijd; en het hart van Nabal was vrolijk op denzelven, en hij was zeer dronken; daarom gaf zij hem niet een woord, klein noch groot, te kennen, tot aan het morgenlicht.
