23. Daarom geschiedde het met den omgang des jaars, dat de heirkracht van Syrie tegen hem optoog, en zij kwamen tot Juda en Jeruzalem, en verdierven uit het volk al de vorsten des volks; en zij zonden al hun roof tot den koning van Damaskus.
