14. En na dezen bouwde hij den buitenmuur aan de stad Davids, aan de westzijde van Gihon in het dal, en tot den ingang van de Vispoort, en omsingelde Ofel, en verhief dien zeer; hij legde ook krijgsoversten in alle vaste steden in Juda.
