27. Toen nam hij zijn eerstgeboren zoon, die in zijn plaats koning zou worden, en offerde hem ten brandoffer op den muur. Daaruit werd een zeer grote toorn in Israel; daarom trokken zij van hem af, en keerden weder in hun land.
