25. En Absalom had Amasa in Joabs plaats gesteld over het heir. Amasa nu was eens mans zoon, wiens naam was Jethra, de Israeliet, die ingegaan was tot Abigail, dochter van Nahas, zuster van Zeruja, Joabs moeder.
