7. En hij was het, die opvoedde Hadassa (deze is Esther, de dochter zijns ooms); want zij had geen vader noch moeder; en zij was een jonge dochter, schoon van gedaante, en schoon van aangezicht; en als haar vader en haar moeder stierven, had Mordechai ze zich tot een dochter aangenomen.
