24. Als nu Pilatus zag, dat hij niet vorderde, maar veel meer dat er oproer werd, nam hij water en wies de handen voor de schare, zeggende: Ik ben onschuldig aan het bloed dezes Rechtvaardigen; gijlieden moogt toezien.
