12. Daarop nam David de speer en de waterkruik van Sauls hoofdeinde weg, en zij gingen heen. Niemand zag het, niemand merkte het, niemand ontwaakte, want allen sliepen, daar er een diepe slaap des HEREN op hen gevallen was.
