3. Toen zeide Samuël tot het gehele huis Israëls: Indien gij u met uw gehele hart tot de HERE bekeert, doet dan de vreemde goden en de Astartes uit uw midden weg en richt uw hart op de HERE en dient Hem alleen; dan zal Hij u redden uit de macht der Filistijnen.
