11. Aangezien Manasse, de koning van Juda, deze gruwelen gedaan heeft, bedreef hij meer kwaad dan al wat de Amorieten gedaan hebben, die vóór hem geweest zijn; ook Juda heeft hij door zijn afgoden doen zondigen.
