32. Absalom antwoordde Joab: Zie, ik heb tot u de boodschap gezonden: kom hierheen, opdat ik u naar de koning zende om te zeggen: waarom ben ik van Gesur gekomen? Ik had beter daar kunnen blijven. En nu wil ik het aangezicht van de koning zien. Indien ik schuldig ben, laat hij mij dan ter dood brengen.
