13. Daarop kwam Gad bij David, deelde hem dit mee en zeide tot hem: Zal er zeven jaar hongersnood in uw land komen? Of wilt gij drie maanden vluchten voor uw tegenstanders, terwijl dezen u vervolgen? Of zal er drie dagen pest zijn in uw land? Welnu, denk na en overweeg, wat ik mijn Zender moet antwoorden.
