10. zond Toï zijn zoon Joram naar koning David om hem naar zijn welstand te vragen en hem ermee geluk te wensen, dat hij Hadadezer had bestreden en verslagen - want Hadadezer was Toï's tegenstander - ; zilveren, gouden en koperen voorwerpen bracht hij mee.
