36. Bij haar thuiskomst zag Abigail dat Nabal een vorstelijk feestmaal had aangericht. Daar Nabal vrolijk en zwaar beschonken was, repte zij met geen woord over het gebeurde en wachtte tot de volgende morgen aanbrak.
