12. David nam de lans en de waterkruik van het hoofdeinde van Saul weg en zij trokken zich terug. Niemand zag het, niemand merkte iets, niemand werd wakker; iedereen sliep door, want Jahwe had hen in een diepe slaap gedompeld.
