4. Nu heb ik besloten een tempel te bouwen ter ere van de naam van Jahwe, mijn God; ik wil die tempel aan Hem toewijden, er welriekende wierook in branden, er regelmatig de toonbroden in neerleggen, er brandoffers opdragen ‘s morgens en ‘s avonds, op de sabbatdagen, bij nieuwe maan en op de hoogtijdagen van Jahwe, onze God, zoals dat voor altijd voor Israel voorgeschreven is.
