13. Zij spraken hun toe als volgt: ‘Breng de gevangenen niet de stad binnen. Wij hebben reeds een schuld op ons geladen jegens Jahwe, en wilt u onze zonde en onze schuld nog erger maken? Onze schuld is al groot genoeg. Een hevige toorn dreigt over Israel los te barsten.’
