7. Hij liet een beeld maken, de heilige paal, en plaatste die in de tempel, terwijl Jahwe toch tot David en zijn zoon Salomo gezegd had: ‘Voor altijd zal Ik in deze tempel mijn naam vestigen, in de stad Jeruzalem, die Ik uit alle stammen van Israel heb uitverkoren.
