18. Waren ze niet in zoveel zonden verstrikt geweest, dan zou ook hij op het ogenblik zelf dat hij de tempel binnendrong, met geselslagen van zijn vermetel voornemen zijn afgebracht, evengoed als Heliodorus, die door koning Seleukus was gezonden om een onderzoek naar de tempelschat in te stellen.
