12. Badend in zijn bloed lag Amasa midden op de weg; omdat de man merkte dat het leger niet in beweging kwam, sleepte hij Amasa van de weg af, de berm in; maar toen hij zag dat alle voorbijgangers bij het lijk bleven staan, wierp hij er een kleed overheen.
