8. Ze waren bij de grote steen in Gibeon, toen hun Amasa tegenkwam. Joab droeg over zijn gewaad een wapenrok, gegord aan zijn heup, een zwaard in de schede. Terwijl hij op Amasa toeging, kwam dat zwaard te voorschijn.
