16. Toen de engel van Jahwe zijn hand uitstak om ook Jeruzalem te teisteren, kreeg Jahwe spijt over het onheil en zei Hij tot de engel die onder het volk verderf stichtte: ‘Het is genoeg; laat uw hand zakken.’ De engel van Jahwe stond toen bij de dorsvloer van Arauna, de Jebusiet.
