7. Daarna - godsspraak van jahwe - lever Ik Sidkia, de koning van Juda, zijn hovelingen en iedereen die in deze stad aan de pest, het zwaard en de honger is ontkomen, over aan Nebukadnessar, de koning van Babel, aan de vijanden die hen naar het leven staan. Hij brengt ze om met het zwaard, meedogenloos zonder genade, zonder erbarmen.
