13. In zijn zeventiende regeringsjaar bracht hij zijn troepenmacht tegen koning Arfaxad in het veld. In de strijd kreeg Nebukadnessar de overhand en hij dwong heel het leger van Arfaxad, met ruiterij en strijdwagens, tot de terugtocht.
