4. Allen waren nu weg; volstrekt niemand was in de tent van Holofernes achtergebleven. Judit stond naast zijn bed en bad in stilte: 'Heer, God van alle kracht, zie in dit uur welwillend neer op het werk dat mijn handen gaan volvoeren tot glorie van Jeruzalem.
