27. In de tijd van de tarweoogst zakte hij af naar de vlakte van Damascus, waar hij alle akkers platbrandde, het kleinvee en de runderen afslachtte, de steden plunderde, de velden onder de voet liep en alle jonge mannen met het zwaard doodde.
