1. Voor de koorleider. Met begeleiding van snaarinstrumenten. Een psalm. Een lied. God zij ons genadig, Hij zegene ons, doe zijn aanschijn over ons lichten:
  
2. dat op aarde uw weg zij geweten, onder alle volken uw heil,
  
3. en de volken U loven, o God, U loven de volken tesamen,
  
4. elk land deelt in de jubelende blijdschap. Want Gij richt de volken naar recht. Gij leidt alle landen op aarde.
  
5. En de volken loven U, God, U loven de volken tesamen.
  
6. De aarde gaf haar gewas: God, onze God, wil ons zegenen.
  
7. Hij wil ons zegenen, God. Eerbied voor Hem en ontzag tot de verste einden der aarde!
