2. Op een dag richtte Achab tot Nabot het verzoek: `Geef mij uw wijngaard; dan maak ik er een moestuin van want hij ligt vlak naast mijn paleis. Ik zal u er een betere wijngaard voor in de plaats geven, of als u dat liever hebt dan zal ik hem voor geld kopen.'
