1. Daarom sprak de HEER tot Samuël: `Hoe lang zult u nog treuren over Saul, terwijl Ik hem heb verworpen en hij geen koning meer zal zijn over Israël? Vul een hoorn met olie: Ik zend u naar Isaï de Betlehemiet, want een van zijn zonen heb Ik voor het koningschap bestemd.'
